{Review} Little Lads and Ladies of Virtue
Recently, I had the honor of meeting the delightful Kathie Morrissey of The Character Corner at the Fort Wayne Home Schools Expo. My family managed the Diana Waring Presents booth next to Kathie's booth. We were able to spend some time chatting about her new character curriculum for preschool and elementary students.
Little Lads and Ladies of Virtues is a unique character training curriculum that provides 24 weeks of lessons for preschool and elementary children (approximately age 4-8). The lessons are structured in a 5 day format and require very little preparation time.
Little Lads and Ladies of Virtues covers 24 character traits:
This curriculum is quite flexible! You can structure it so that you cover 24 weeks of character traits in a 6 month period or you can spread it out over the course of a year. Each daily lesson takes approximately 15 minutes and you can expand with additional review or games.
A Copywork resource is available for elementary students. This resource allows the student to copy the character trait definition, memory verse, and "I Will" statements. Copywork provides a helpful review and reinforcement of the weekly character trait.
Little Lads and Ladies of Virtue can be used in a homeschool, preschool, daycare, Sunday School, or other group setting. The lessons can be used individually, but many of the games work well with a group of students. Kathie Morrissey has created an easy-to-use resource that enables families to teaching character concepts to their children with ease.
