What's In The Bible? presents biblical and church history in a unique, zany, and informative way that will be unforgettable for children and adults. After reviewing this series, our family will probably never speak about the "Septuagint" again without a chuckle and one of us saying "Bless You" in response. You will just have to watch the DVD's to see what I am talking about, and I am certain you will find the "Pirate's Guide to Church History" to be enlightening and comical at the same time just as we did. I will be giving two DVD's away and you can see details on entering this contest at the end of this post. You can have a peek at the cute characters by downloading the free coloring pages for this new series. You can also preview a trailer of What's in the Bible? at this link.

The characters are brilliant, zany, and hilarious and yet the material is not light. What's In the Bible? presents a foundational understanding of the spiritual and physical history of the Bible. Phil Vischer explains in his introduction that his mission is serious as his concern is for the Bible illiteracy among families and youth and the alarming rate at which young adults depart from faith in their high school and college years.

Phil Vischer succeeds with What's In the Bible? in presenting biblical truths in a dynamic format involving puppets, live-action, music, and animation. Although this series is generally geared for an elementary level, students of all ages will find this series entertaining and informative.
