Recently, our family was introduced to Alone Yet Not Alone by Tracy Leininger Craven through FlyBy Promotions. This book, based on a true story of the Leininger family, is the subject of an award-winning new movie.

Alone Yet Not Alone details the inspiring survival story of Barbara and Regina Leininger during the French and Indian War of 1755. It is an exciting story of faith, survival, and hope in difficult times.

Our 11 year old read the book in one sitting. It was a historical page turner that she really enjoyed! We are now on the look out to see if this movie will be played in the Indianapolis area.

This book would make an excellent read-aloud and a springboard for studying the mid-1700's in American History.
