{Review} Math Mammoth First Grade

In my homeschool planning over the summer, I struggled to make a decision on what math curriculum to choose for my nephew. He has a budding interest in math and enjoys working on math games. In our years of homeschooling, we have used many well-known math programs. However, I was simply stuck in making a full decision for first grade math.

Thankfully, the Mosaic Reviews team came to my rescue and introduced me to Math Mammoth! This was our first introduction to Math Mammoth and we were pleased to conduct a review of the Math Mammoth Complete Grade 1 Curriculum.

Math Mammoth is easy-to-understand and use! I love the flexibility we have in completing the amount of pages that feel right to us for the day. When my nephew is in a math groove, he will complete 3 or more pages at a time. If he needs to spend time on a concept, he may only complete 1 or 2 pages per day. Either way, we do not feel like we are falling behind in the lessons. We complete the lessons at the pace that works well with our learning. The additional online math games and resources provide interactive activities to support the curriculum instruction.

My nephew enjoyed trying out his new Math Mammoth lessons for first grade. He will continue to work through the curriculum for the remainder of the school year. I will plan to post a follow-up review at the end of the year to recap our progress with the curriculum.
